Associate in Specialized Business (A.S.B.)
This is an Occupational Associate’s Degree Program.
21 months (Day program) – 24 months (Evening Program)

Program Objective
The Electronic Health Records program provides students with a foundation in managing healthcare data and information resources. Students receive training in planning, collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and disseminating individual patient and aggregate clinical hospital data. Graduates may seek entry-level employment in physician’s offices, clinics, laboratories, hospitals, group practices, specialty practices, health insurance offices and nursing homes.


Employment Objectives:
The goal of the Electronic Health program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge enabling them to qualify for entry level positions as medical and patient records managers. Graduates are also capable of filling entry level positions with insurance and medical supply companies. This 1532 clock hour/106 credit hour course of study culminates with a 300 hour externship. Completion of the Electronic Health Records program is acknowledged by the awarding of a Associate Degree.
