Associate in Specialized Technology Degree
21 months (day program); 27 months (evening program)

Drafting Technology Degree Program Curriculum:

The Drafting Technology degree training program at BTI focuses on Mechanical Drawing and Architectural Drafting.
The Drafting Technology course will provide students with the intensive courses and hands-on classes necessary to perform drafting assignments that require the use of drafting standards, symbols and nomenclature. Students will get hands-on experience in the Computer Aided Drafting lab, which has hardware and AutoCAD software similar to what is used
on the job.

Class Training Objectives:

Graduates who complete the Drafting Technology certification program will be able to seek entry-level employment as a Drafting Technician and CAD Operator.

The staff at BTI are effective instructors who have a passion for drafting and are accomplished designers with years of experience in the field. Students in Drafting Technology will study courses in drafting and Computer Aided Drafting, and other courses including:
