Students learn and practice installation of computer hardware and operating systems. Students also study hardware and operating system configuration and troubleshooting concepts. Students learn and practice basic programming techniques, basic script writing and help desk and end-user support concepts. Lecture topics are reinforced and practiced in a heavily hands-on oriented environment.
This program prepares the student for several industry-standard certification examinations, including, but not limited to, CompTIAs A+ and Network+, and Microsoft’s MCP.
