Medical Assisting Degree Training:
The Medical Assistant degree program provides students with the skills and education needed to succeed in a variety of Allied Health areas. Students enrolled in the Medical Assistant training program typically work in areas such as: clinical (EKG, phlebotomy, blood pressures, injections, lab work), and administrative (keyboarding, bookkeeping, insurance billing, front office operation). The student will also be prepared to pursue a professional certification as a Medical Assistant.
The skills and knowledge acquired from the training courses will enable the graduate to work as an entry-level health professional in one of many different medical environments, such as clinical labs, general practitioner offices and area specialists, and other ambulatory settings.
Medical Assistant Degree Program Objectives:
