Upholding the Law and Serving the People

When you enter the Criminal Justice or Paralegal programs at Berks Technical Institute, you will learn how to help your community by working in the Criminal Justice and Legal system. Depending on your chosen career path, you will gain experience how lawyers prosecute and defend legal cases, legal research, processing a crime scene, including properly collecting and processing evidence in our CSI Lab.

You will also learn preventative security measures so people feel safer in their homes and at work. By helping others feel safe, you provide a valuable service to the community. You will be able to serve people in several different capacities.

Our career-focused Legal and Protective Service courses will jumpstart your career as a Paralegal, Corrections Officer or Court Clerk. Our Criminal Justice externship course will even give you the opportunity to train for and begin a career in the police force. No matter what your interests are, BTI will provide you with the training and support needed to develop a successful career.
