We’ve developed relationships with local businesses so we know what employers are looking for and train our students accordingly through our professional and technical courses. We also hire qualified instructors to teach you the knowledge needed in the classroom and on the job.

Below is a list of just a few of the technical training programs offered at BTI. Those with an asterisk (*) next to them indicate available evening programs.
(Not currently enrolling.) As a Computer-Aided Drafting Technology (CAD) student, you will have the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to perform manual, 2D and 3D CAD. You will be able to design and produce various technical drawings and plans. View all the details about the program here.
As a Criminal Justice student, you will have the opportunity to learn how to conduct a criminal investigation, process a crime scene, collect and preserve evidence, and interrogate a suspect. Take a deep look at the Criminal Justice program.
As a Business Administration Management student, you will develop a solid foundation in all aspects of business, including accounting, finance, marketing, management, labor, and human relations, business law, and office systems. Learn more about BTI's Business Administration program here.
As a CDL training student, you will have the opportunity to learn how to inspect and operate tractor-trailers. Not only will you be able to learn defensive driving and other motor safety regulations in the classroom, you will also be able to get behind the wheel. As a Dental Assisting student, you will learn the skills needed for an entry-level position in today’s modern dental offices. If you have already completed the Dental Assistant program and would like to further extend your skills within the field, the Expanded Function Dental Assistant Preparation program may be the right fit for you! This program will teach you how to perform and execute on advanced techniques that will progress you further in your Dental Assisting career. Learn more about the program here! In the IT Support Specialist program, students will be presented with the opportunity to learn how to use equipment for building computers, set up information system protocol, and more. You will get hands-on experience working within a database application, as well as the support and collaboration from fellow peers that have experience in this program as well. The Mechatronics program will provide students with hands-on experience working on robot and “smart” equipment.
