In May 1992, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) accredited the Medical Assisting program upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).

In July 1996, the Institute was relocated to a 34,000 square-foot facility at 2205 Ridgewood Road, Wyomissing. In April 1999, a technology wing was added that increased the size of the facility to almost 50,000 square feet, and parking was expanded to accommodate over 600 cars. In May 2000, Berks Technical Institute was acquired by MC Education, Inc. and in March 2008, was acquired by Delta Career Education Corporation.
